Palight Signs
Palight Signs
Palight is a solid foamed PVC sheet that offers significantly better durability than standard foam board. Unlike foam board which has a polystyrene core sandwiched between paper faces, Palight is the same material throughout. It does not absorb moisture, does not dent as easily, and holds up in environments where foam board would fail.
One thing worth knowing: if your sign is going anywhere with humidity, moisture, or outdoor exposure, even briefly, Palight is the right choice over foam board. The print quality is the same but the substrate lasts significantly longer in demanding environments.

FAQs:
What is the difference between Palight and foam board?
Foam board has a polystyrene foam core sandwiched between paper faces. Palight is a solid homogenous foamed PVC sheet throughout. Palight is more durable, weather resistant, and does not absorb moisture. Foam board is indoor only.
Can Palight signs be used outdoors?
Yes for short to medium term outdoor applications. For permanent long term outdoor signage ACM is the better substrate.
What thickness Palight do you offer?
2mm, 3mm, and 4mm.
Is Palight more expensive than foam board?
Yes. Palight costs more than foam board but significantly less than ACM. It is a good middle ground for applications that need more durability than foam board without the weight and cost of ACM.
