Preferred File Format

PDF (Best Option)

A print-ready PDF is the easiest and safest file type to supply.

Please include:

  • Correct page size
  • 3mm bleed
  • High resolution images
  • Embedded fonts

We also accept InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop files.

Bleed Explained

Bleed is extra artwork outside the trim edge.

Use 3mm bleed on all sides whenever colour, images, or design runs to the edge.

Without bleed, thin white edges can appear after trimming.

Safe Margins

Keep all important content at least 5mm inside the edge.

This includes:

  • Text
  • Logos
  • QR codes
  • Borders

Colour Mode

Use CMYK, not RGB.

RGB is for screens. CMYK is for printing.

Supplying RGB files can cause colour shifts.

Image Quality

Images should be 300dpi at final size.

Low resolution web images often print blurry or pixelated.

Fonts

Fonts must be:

  • Embedded in PDF, or
  • Converted to outlines
