Flyers - DL Trifold
A trifold DL takes an A4 sheet and folds it down to DL format across three panels giving you six panels to work with. Practical to post, easy to display in a counter holder, and the format most people expect when they pick up a folded brochure.
For heavier stocks over 150gsm we crease before folding to avoid cracking. Economy and premium options on every job.
One thing worth knowing: the three panels are not equal in width. The inside fold panel needs to be slightly narrower than the other two or it will not fold cleanly and will buckle. It is one of the most common file setup mistakes we see. Get in touch before you finalise your artwork and we will send you the correct template with the right panel sizes already set up.

Do you crease before folding to avoid cracking?
Yes. For stocks over 150gsm we crease before folding as standard to prevent cracking on the fold line.
What stock weight do you recommend for trifold flyers?
130gsm to 150gsm folds cleanly without creasing. Heavier stocks require creasing and are quoted accordingly.
How many panels does a trifold have?
A trifold has six panels - three on each side of the sheet.
